With nearly 50 years of career, Israel Vibration, now led by Wiss, is preparing to release a new album, Reggae Music Never Dies, in 2025. Produced by Aston Barrett Jr., the son of the legendary Aston “Familyman” Barrett of the Wailers, this album includes the final recordings of Skelly, who passed away in 2022, paying tribute to the iconic roots sound.

A world tour with the Roots Radics will kick off in March 2025, including prestigious dates at Lolapalooza (Chile), República do Reggae (Brazil), and various other countries. Israel Vibration remains a global benchmark for reggae, embodying the history and soul of this music through poignant, timeless performances.”

Her various journeys, from Kingston to New York, have brought her into contact with some of the greatest reggae musicians and producers, enriching her musical universe and her quest for authenticity. Her latest and fifth album, Shine, is the result of this journey. It embodies the vision and vibration Mo’ shares with her fellow artists, elevating the music to its pinnacle.

The list is long, and the journey is remarkable for the pioneer of the vapor reggae/dub movement, initiated nearly 10 years ago by Atili with his track “Tomorrow (feat. Prendy).” In 2016, Atili laid the foundation for a new musical genre that is now recognized and embraced by his peers.

A self-made man, Atili honed his craft on his own to reveal his full potential. From sounds to music videos and visuals, he is the driving force behind everything related to his music, both in inspiration and execution.

A chameleon musician, equally at ease supporting his reggae/rap peers as he is front and center in an electro/dub setting, Atili spreads his wings and takes flight through tracks marked with his unique signature: a festive electro vibe tinged with dub sounds, reflecting his journey while already revealing his future.

The concert, filled with emotions and nostalgia, sparked an irresistible desire to continue this collaboration. A few months later, the artists gathered in the studio to create RED LIGHT, an album that reflects twenty years of musical camaraderie and shared creativity. Released on November 28, 2024, by ODG Prod, this album marks a new milestone in the history of French dub.

RED LIGHT is much more than just an album: it is a vibrant tribute to Jamaican reggae-dub, enriched by modern explorations. Each track immerses the listener in a unique world, blending hypnotic grooves, powerful basslines, and rhythms crafted for sound systems. In both the studio and on stage, the trio remains true to the essence of “French Dub,” drawing inspiration from the sounds of legends like Improvisator Dub, Brain Damage, and High Tone.

Born from twenty years of friendship and musical adventures, RED LIGHT embodies both homage and innovation. On stage, Dawa Hi-Fi x Roots Raid reinterpret “Red Light” in unique and improvised versions, led by Valentin (Dawa Hi-Fi) on the machines for a vibrant “Dub Mix” at each concert. Tom (Roots Raid) brings depth with his bass and the warmth of vintage synthesizers, including the iconic Korg MS-10! Ben (Roots Raid), on Nyabinghi percussion and mic, maintains a constant connection with the audience.

With a mix of raw energy and musical finesse, Dawa Hi-Fi x Roots Raid promise an intense 2025, filled with shows where the power of dub merges with total artistic freedom.

With four albums to her credit, including Hit Me With Music (2014) and Flowaz (2021), Sara continues to win over an international fan base with tours of Europe, North and Central America, and performances at prestigious festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash and iconic venues like the Olympia in Paris. In 2025, she embarks on a promising new tour.

Their sound universe is built around a dub foundation enriched with hip-hop rhythms, world music elements, and scratches, creating an explosive blend of reggae and stepper with an organic touch, accompanied by their signature instrument: the accordion. Between their homage to sound system culture and their nods to circus arts, they have collaborated with numerous and diverse artists (Panda Dub, Uzul, Luiza, Joe Pilgrim, Balaphonik Sound System, etc.).

They have hundreds of concerts behind them, notably in France, Réunion and Switzerland, and have released two CDs, Spread the Word (2014) and Timing is Critical (2017), in addition to the album Connecting…Please Wait available everywhere (Casamance, 2022). In 2024 they set up their own label, Bass Cookers, under which they release their productions, recorded and mixed by one of the pioneers of French Dub: Pilah (Dub Addict Sound System/KalyLive Dub). They also celebrate their tenth anniversary by organizing two editions of the “Alive DubFestival”, in France in October and in La Réunion in November.

An adept of the “Do it yourself” approach, Broussaï’s musicians have naturally built their adventure on the path of independence and self-production. And even though several studio albums in their discography were voted “Best French Album” at the Victoires du Reggae awards in 2010, 2013 and 2016, Broussaï remains above all a live band. Very accessible, the complicity with the audience mixed with an explosive show is their trademark. The fervor that emanates from their performance cannot leave indifférent.

After their last album, which focused particularly on ecology, Broussaï will be releasing “Solidaires” in April 2023, a committed new chapter in their career on the theme of humanism. In today’s sombre context of climate upheaval, mass migration, pandemics and war, the band wants to highlight the hope of awareness and the need to unite to face up to these crucial issues.

From their streetwise beginnings to the biggest festivals, the band has established itself as one of France’s most talked-about acts. With nearly 1,000 dates to their credit, Broussaï’s live shows exude a contagious, infectious energy!

Raised with traditional music and reggae from a young age, she gained recognition in the artistic world through maloya – a style of music, singing, and dance originating from Réunion – as a backing vocalist and percussionist in the band Saodaj’. Concerts and tours in various countries quickly professionalized her and allowed her to develop stage presence. With roots blending Africa and India, Nagaï now offers a unique volcanic reggae from the Indian Ocean, using the power of her music to convey a conscious message of universal love.

Transporting us to a serene and meditative atmosphere, Nagaï offers refined music that blends exhilarating rhythms, deep bass lines, and soaring high vocals. She transcends us with powerful rhythms for a performance full of breathtaking dynamism.

In October 2024, she will release her first EP, Back To My Roots (Kaboum Music), featuring 6 songs with 2 dub versions mixed by Roberto Sánchez, which she will soon present on stage during several tours in Europe and the Indian Ocean.

On stage, his music unites the audience, sharing smiles, dance moves, and joy in unison, all under the captivating rhythm of his guitar. He is accompanied by his musicians, with whom he shares his motto: “Humility and Simplicity are the way of life.” Lidiop is a baye fall, and his way of life is defined by respect, love, and solidarity beyond religious, racial, sexist, and ideological divides.

As a songwriter, composer, and performer, Tomawok adapts to all types of riddims ranging from 70 to 180 BPM. His carefully crafted lyrics, rich rhymes, articulated words, and conscious messages, combined with his unmatched and precise delivery, make him an unmissable artist. The stage is his outlet, like a lion unleashed in an arena, electrified and energized by the symbiotic connection with his audience. Tomawok has also performed over 1300 concerts, both with the One Shot Band and in DJ sets, across the globe: France, China, Jamaica, Mali, Ivory Coast, Congo, India, Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Czech Republic, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Mexico, Georgia, Germany, Réunion Island.

After dedicating himself in 2020 to creating and recording a new 12-track album, Road to Wisdom, set to be released in May 2022, Tomawok will surprise with a more conscious, sensitive, mature, and intimate approach, while still keeping the crowds dancing. The album’s themes have expanded, with the artist addressing topics such as climate change, animal rights, the joy of cooking, and his views on society, occasionally with a touch of humor.

Tomawok has chosen to collaborate, as always, with legends of Jamaican music, such as Capleton on the track Bun Dem Down and Chezidek on Me Kitchen, alongside icons of the French and Réunionnais scenes like Mesh and Mc Duc. With the same commitment to excellence and quality, the beat/riddim makers are French duo D&H and Polish producer Dreadsquad. The album was mainly recorded at Irie Ites Studio by Judi-k, with features recorded in Kingston at Capleton’s studio and in St. Mary with Chezidek. The album was mixed by D&H and then mastered by Scratch in Trinidad and Tobago.
