Sara Lugo

Biography

Sara Lugo, a singer with diverse influences, combines her soul and folk voice with various styles such as reggae, pop, swing, R&B, jazz, and hip-hop. Discovered in 2009 through a collaboration with Umberto Echo and the band Jamaram, she quickly became a key figure in the reggae scene. Winner of the British Reggae Industry Award in 2013, she has distinguished herself through notable collaborations, including with Kabaka Pyramid (High & Windy) and Protoje (Really Like You). In 2020, she moved to France, where she explored new musical horizons with Blanka from La Fine Équipe.

With four albums to her credit, including Hit Me With Music (2014) and Flowaz (2021), Sara continues to win over an international fan base with tours of Europe, North and Central America, and performances at prestigious festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash and iconic venues like the Olympia in Paris. In 2025, she embarks on a promising new tour.
